Organized as a consolidated law practice, the firm offers a wide spectrum of legal services including general litigation, personal injury, worker’s compensation, real estate, bankruptcy and family law. JEFFERY W. DEER
Jeffrey Deer graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago Kent College of Law in 1990. Mr. Deer is admitted to practice law in the States of Illinois and Tennessee. His practice specializes in real estate, corporate and transactional law. Mr. Deer has argued before the Illinois Appellate Court in Chicago, Illinois. In 1999, Mr. Deer co-founded the law firm of Deer and Stone, P.C.

MARK E. STONE
Mark Stone graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago Kent College of Law in 1990. As an attorney, he has specialized in representing petitioners in worker’s compensation claims and plaintiff’s personal injury. In 1999, he co-founded the law firm of Deer and Stone, P.C., wherein he has represented hundreds of clients on their injury related claims all over the State of Illinois. Mr. Stone has argued before both the Illinois Appellate Court and the Illinois Supreme Court in Springfield, Illinois.

LAWRENCE P. MAYA
Lawrence Maya is a graduate of Loyola University School of Law in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Maya has focused his practice on being an advocate for individuals who have been injured as the result of negligence and wrongdoing. He practices plaintiff’s personal injury litigation in all counties of the State of Illinois, handling depositions, arbitrations and mediations. Mr. Maya has tried numerous cases to verdict before a jury, in Chicago and in the surrounding counties in Illinois. His practice includes cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises and products liability, and railroad accidents. Mr. Maya has also successfully litigated several food poisoning and contamination cases. He has also argued before the Illinois Appellate Court, in Chicago, Illinois, and authored numerous appellate briefs.

Mr. Maya also maintains ties to the community. In 2001, he wrote a legal advice and information column for the La Raza newspaper. Mr. Maya joined the law firm of Deer and Stone, P.C. in 2002. The law firm became Deer, Stone & Maya, P.C., on January 1, 2009.
